I found a T3 staff schematic in Sulevin's Cradle (which has a pretty damn good 2H sword if you complete the quest as well) I think I got it to have up to 150 dps or so with a Dragon tooth and spirit rune - also at Sulevin's Cradle, and went for critical damage bonus instead of critical chance, which I got up to 100% by using craggy skin + dragon webbing and some staff modifications.
